COLOR in Nature is the next chapter in Alteronce Gumby’s ongoing exploration of color—expanding the conversation beyond celebration, culture, and perception into the elemental forces of the natural world.

From the glaciers of Iceland and the Rainbow Mountains of Peru to the jungles of Vietnam, the dye pits of Nigeria, and the butterfly sanctuaries of Mexico, the film traces how color emerges through climate, chemistry, light, and living systems—revealed in ice, soil, trees, animals, fabrics, and atmosphere.
